  1. Fantastic! Just a quick question … Can rubber sandals when they wear thin be recycled? If so is it just in your normal recycling bin.

  2. Is this a camping trip? Are you flying? Driving? If you're staying anywhere you have to pay there will be a receipt….I guess I need more details! Love the dishes, where did you get them?

  3. I´m living on the road this year and trying to transition to a trash-free lifestyle. I was just about to have a mental breakdown about how to do it! This is so helpful!

  4. Hey Lauren –
How do you do zero waste contacts? A post on that would be awesome! I never know what to do with the little individual packages the contacts come in or the endless bottles of solution!

    Thanks!

  5. Wow looking forward to seeing how you do this!
Will you be posting how you packed? It seems like a lot of hard and large items.

  6. So excited to read about your trip! I have a question concerning the stainless steel food containers – which size is the biggest of the three that you got? I cannot decide whether I should get 2 or 4 liters.

  7. Hi Lauren,

I am really curious about the weight of all of these items. When you get back I would love to hear how much they weigh together!

  8. Hi Lauren,

Love your blog, you are an inspiration!
Just wondering, is your face lotion homemade like your body lotion? and if so is it a different recipe? Also if you use anything as a hair shampoo/ conditioner could you post about that?

    Thank you!
    Devon

  9. Hi Lauren,

    Love your post!
Just wondering what you do about your contacts, contact lens cases, and contact solution?
    Also, floss?
What kinda makeup do you wear? Any makeup products you would recommend?

    Thanks!

  10. I'm wondering what you do to cut food? I don't see any knives in your travel kit. as someone who is a cheese lover and cuts fruits and veggies I would need to take at least a paring knife with me.

  11. I'm buying a safety razor soon, and I was wondering if you use a bar of soap as shave cream or the special stuff you can buy for them? thank! I love your site and instagram!

  12. Hi Lauren! I was wondering if the majority of your wardrobe is in the photo in this post. I am wanting to create a capsule wardrobe and am looking for inspiration. Thank you!!
